Leavenheath Cricket Club

Leavenheath Cricket Club LCC squad

Captain : Stewart Wells

Captain of LCC, came through the junior side of 1997. Been skipper since 2004 but had a year break in 2015. Likes to think of himself as a genuine all rounder like Paul Collingwood

Vice Captain : Stuart Logan

Vice Captain, Chairman and prolific batsman and a good bowler. Scored a fair few thousand runs over the years, taken many wickets plus has a fit wife.

Vice Captain : David Little

Dave Little - Where do i start....Aggressive batsman, can get 50 off 4 over’s or out for a duck. Loves a drink, actually only think he plays cricket because of the social side.
Charles Boorman
Probably the most laid back Batsman you will ever meet, loves a cover drive, 2nd richest man in Leavenheath, nice hair, nearly as posh as Quinton.
Andrew Carr

The legend that is Sir Andy Carr. Scored thousand of runs for the club over the years and Skipper for many years. Never met a nicer chap than Andy

Gary Chenery

Gazza plays when he can, being a Chef and an apparent stud does have its downfalls. Great W/K and when required can bowl a bit.

Chris Chown
Matchwinner Chowny! Only plays cricket for the teas and sleeps while we bat. Famously won us the game down at Clarion 2016.
Matthew Gallo
Drives the famous green hornet which has had 6 replacement engines. Opening batsman and always first in the pub to buy a round, in my book thats a great club member!
Bevan Gordon
A life time member of LCC. 2016 Season Bevan turned from a boy to a man, rumours of a lady soon escalated due his uplift in form but he declined to comment.
Andy Kirkpatrick

KP the Chief Inspector of woman. Great tourist, loves some banter and always gives his all. Handy bowler and batsman but above all a ladies man.

Chris Little
Chris is the youngest member of our side and son to Dave Little. Keen as mustard and has the potential to become a proper village cricketer!
Barry Lock

The King of Spain. Spin bowler and can carry his bat. Famous in the history of LCC for breaking his nose down at Freston, he went off re-set his nose in the changing room, came back on the pitch and took a wicket! Firmest handshake you will ever get from a man

Adam Minns

Minndo! Another member of the famous 1997 junior team. Loves organising things and always keeps the 'whip' on a night out, does drive a Volvo though.

Luke Rumbelow
The Bungalow! Joined at the start of 2016 and instantly became one of us. Took 5 cheeky wickets in his 7th game for the club. Loves a beer and drives a Merc mate!
Rob Sherriff
'Rambo' joined the club back in 2014. Handy bowler who picks up wickets, gives his all for the team but does drive a grey Skoda.
Luke Taylor

Looks like Juan Mata who plays for Man Utd, thinks he's a ladies man but honestly isn’t. His finest innings for the club was in 2011 when he scored a 50. We all like Tay's even though he's a teacher.

Saul Underwood
Joined in 2013, back to playing cricket after a break of 10 years. Looking forward to banter, beers and bowling as fast as my Hobbit body will allow.
Callum Waugh
Turning into a decent bowler for the club, only 15 but already a key part of the team. Promising future ahead.
Dave Webb
Nicknamed the 'Enforcer'. Gives his all for the team, current wicket keeper and low order batsman. Has hands the sizes of buckets.
Michael Wilson
Plays when he can and likes to eat dog food when he's drunk.
