Some of you may know already that Hilary Wells suffered a severe stroke on Monday. I'm told however that she has improved greatly this week following an emergency operation. As a result, Stewart is not captaining this week but is still playing. I'm sure I speak for everyone here in saying that our best wishes are with Hilary and the family for a speedy recovery.
Look forward to seeing everyone at the ground for 1.30 latest. It'd be nice if everyone pitched in with the ground duty this week, both before and after the game, rather than leaving it to the regulars.
I'll be looking to collect overdue subs (membership fees & match fees) this week so please bring cash to the game if you know that you owe money!
