Good afternoon all
The first loss in 8 games came yesterday against Bures at Home.
This is the end of the current spell for Captain Superted, who has had a good run but new
matchday captain will be appointed for the forthcoming game away to Nacton next Sunday.

The players scoring table is still topped by Bevan but some more points gained from
players below yesterday
Summary of the game yesterday.
It was a very damp pitch after 2 days of solid rain but Andy and Bev did a good job getting
it all ready.
Superted won the toss and we fielded first.
Bures scored 181/8 off 35 overs
Jeppo with 3 wickets, Cal and Superted with 2 wickets and Johnny Armour (Harry's Brother)
bowled rather quick and got first wicket for LCC - caught by Harry Armour!
I took a hat-trick of catches but dropped Jack Crace on 98 and appear to have a broken
finger (yet TBC) for my efforts. This proved to be very costly as went on to score 111.
LCC - 177/7 - off 35 overs - lost by 4 runs
I opened the batting with Tris as Supeterted wanted a quick start. Quick fire 31 from me.
Tris went on to get 51, Johnny Armour with 39.
Good couple of partnerships with Tris & Johhny and then some rapid running between the
wickets with Johnny and KP.
Wickets fell and 2 runouts in 2 overs and everyone looking for the last boundary but it
wasn't to be.

We are on the road again to Nacton on Sunday with a new match day skipper to get us
back to winning ways.
Final note, I will get details out of the transfer window and 2nd half changes sent out
after next week's update.
